Less than a week from its official announcement, Xiaomi intends to encourage the public to take an interest in its next medium / high-end smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 9. After Chuan Wang has posted several snapshots captured with the smartphone camera, this time is the company’s CEO, Lei Jun, who has released nothing less than six photos of the smartphone.
So far, only a few sneaky photos have been published by different sources on Weibo, but the photos uploaded are most beautiful, straight out of a marketing campaign or to the press.
No Fingerprint Scanner On Back
The pictures come to confirm what we had already seen from the smartphone, namely a camera with three lenses on the back, positioned vertically. The flash is located just below the photo module. It was noticed that the smartphone has no fingerprint reader on the back, suggesting that it will be integrated directly into the screen.
The unveiled smartphone reflect colors turning between green and purple and unicorn. It has the speakers on the lower edge, with a USB-C, and a third button, in addition to the power and volume keys, on the left edge. This could be the one to activate the voice assistant. It also confirms this firm is powered by Snapdragon 855 processor.
