Honor Magic 2 3D was officially launched today in China, after the various rumors that have arrived in recent weeks. This is a new version of the Honor model already presented at the end of October, but in this case, the novelty is represented by the new front 3D scanner included in the slider system.

Both the design and the technical specifications remain unchanged from the original model. The powerful SoC Kirin 980 has remained in place, as well as all the other components, but there is good news for the memories. This particular version comes with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory, so it is a real top variant.
The major difference compared to the Magic 2 that we already know is, as mentioned, in the new front 3D sensor, which can be activated when the slider is opened. Honor has declared that this technology allows better recognition of the face and objects, in order to make the release more effective through facial recognition.
Honor Magic 2 3D is available today in China at a price of about $859. It is unlikely that this particular model will be exported outside the Chinese borders, so we can not foresee a possible arrival in India.
