The Nokia 8 launched in 2017 by Nokia licensee HMD Global is Nokia’s first android phone. However regarding features and software, it is more better from other premium handsets. The company self-realize that it require software updates to solve those issues.
Some of the defects with the Nokia 8 were the lack of a Pro mode in its camera and other features that are not covered in Nokia 8 but later arrived with the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco. Nevertheless, the company has now settled the Pro Camera mode with the new update that is going out globally to all Nokia 8 smartphone.
Earlier this month, HMD Global had said that an update for the Nokia 8 would be available soon. The company’s CPO Juho Sarvikas explain the reason behind why HMD Global take some time to provide the Pro Camera update via Twitter, he said that “We need to overhaul the entire imaging framework. We have been working on it for months. Taking longer than I anticipated but now looks good. We will update shortly. “But with the update Nokia 8 receiving camera improvements which are awaited by users form a long time.
The Nokia 8 camera comes with few new features, like focus, ISO, manual controls over white balance, exposure compensation and shutter speed. The automatic controls will itself make all the adjustments and edit your images in real time.
Sarvikas shared the video via Twitter, which shows that the Pro Camera mode brings us back to some of the most-loved camera phones of Nokia from years past, with the same circular interface for controls.
The new model is mostly like a Lumia. But one of the best parts of Nokia’s Lumia smartphones was the camera quality, which is also arriving in the Nokia 8 as a pro camera mode.
