OnePlus 6 Gets OxygenOS 5.1.8 Update; Addresses System Stability Issues, Optimises Call Quality


OnePlus 6 is getting OxygenOS 5.1.8 as new software update especially for Indian users who are crazy for the OnePlus 6 smartphone. This update will include all the feature that had debuted through OxygenOS 5.1.7 released last week. This indicated that the update patches the bootloader vulnerability for users of OnePlus 6 in India. Also this update has improvement in system stability issue. This is the reason why OnePlus had skipped the OxygenOS 5.1.7 for Indian users and then released an improved version OxygenOS 5.1.8 now.

OxygenOS 5.1.8 update for the OnePlus 6 has improved the system stability and also optimises call quality. This was mentioned by changelog posted on the OnePlus forums. The update has also improved general bug fixes and network stability. The latest update OxygenOS 5.1.8 is available worldwide for OnePlus 6 users but for Indian users have also received the OxygenOS 5.1.7 as they did not receive this update due to some bugs and issues that were reported by users after installing OxygenOS 5.1.6

So, Users of OnePlus 6 in India received this solution for the scheduled setting issue that was spotted on the DND (Do Not Disturb) Mode and also an updated bootloader that patches vulnerability which is allowing hackers to bypass the bootloader protection. Also their are general bug fixes and solutions added to the update.
