Sony is still chasing the tradition, where its new medium-range are ready to publicize at CES 2019. Two of the three devices which are Xperia XA3 and XA3 Plus / Ultra are already filtered. The third one, which is the Xperia L3, has also come to the turn.
Filtration comes with the certification of the FCC, so we can assume that the specifications shown are true. The Xperia L3 aims to be a full- range mid-range with 18: 9 screen and powered by Qualcomm processor.
According to the FCC certification, the Sony Xperia L3 would have a 5.7-inch screen with an 18: 9 aspect ratio, although it is unknown whether it will be IPS / LCD or OLED. What we can see in the documents of the US agency is a sketch of its design, which shows that the Xperia L3 will not stray too far from the aesthetic for which the Japanese firm opted on its Sony Xperia XZ3.
As for components, the Xperia L3 will equip 3 GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 660 processor, one of the most popular in the mid-range of 2018. The storage capacity has not yet revealed. The photographic section will consist of a dual camera of (13 + 5)MP, while the camera for selfies is 8MP.
Finally, it should be noted that the device will have the fingerprint reader in the side frame, USB type C and 3,400 mAh battery. So, the only thing that remains to be known are the dimensions, the internal memory and some details of the connectivity. We just have to wait for CES 2019 to leave doubts or, if its presentation is delayed, to MWC 2019.
