WhatsApp May Be Working on a Windows App for PCs: Report


WhatsApp for Desktop : If reports are to be believed, The giant messaging App Whatsapp which is owned by Facebook is reportedly working along with Microsoft to launch a proper desktop app for the users who also use Whatsapp on desktop.

Whatsapp is one of the most used messaging App in the world and it has always come up with new and latest features consistently so that users don’t loose interest in the app. A recent report by Windows central suggest that Whatsapp is actually getting ready to launch a proper desktop app in coming months, This was reported by The Next Web.

It was reported that the Concept art for a UWP (Universal Windows Platform) version of WhatsApp showed up on Behance before it was promptly removed. It appeared to be a native Windows app with UWP design tenets like acrylic transparency.

After looking at description of the projected it is clearly suggested that Whatsapp and Microsoft are working closely on the project to launch Whatsapp desktop app.

If we look back in the past, WhatsApp already has an app for desktop but it’s just a port of WhatsApp company’s web app page.

Millions are users are using WhatsApp on desktop, but the app is lacking some major features like video and voice calling.

We are eagerly waiting for the launch of WhatsApp for desktop, lets hope this tie up between Microsoft and WhatsApp brings more interesting feature to the Giant App.
