The truth is that beyond the date itself, the invitation could read Mi 9, but does not let you guess anything else about how the next Xiaomi flagship will be. The invitation was seen on Twitter by the user Ice universe, known for its leaks in the mobile sector. However, the official account of Xiaomi is silent on February 20 itself and places us on February 24, the day before MWC 2019 event.

Triple Rear Camera & Snapdragon 855
While waiting for the arrival, the rumors are not lacking and everything points to the Xiaomi Mi 9 will have a triple rear camera of 48 MP + 12 MP and a third 3D lens. If confirmed, it would be the first smartphone of the company to mount three rear cameras, since until now it has always opted for the dual camera.
As for the design, this would follow the modern trends, with a screen AMOLED 6.4 inches with Full HD + resolution of 1080 x 2220 and fingerprint sensor on screen. Its size would be reminiscent of the Xiaomi Mi 8, with measures of 155 x 75 x 7.6 mm.
Coming to the processor, the rumors confirm that Xiaomi Mi 9 will mount a Snapdragon 855 with 5G connectivity and AI power, accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The smartphone would have a 3500 mAh battery without wireless charge but with a fast quick charge. We can expect this on Android 9 Pie with MIUI10 customization layer.
