For the last couple of days, there was this rumour that Xiaomi will be launching it’s Mi band 3 on May 31. However now in a recent tweet by Xiaomi Senior VP Wang Xiang has said about the same. That means the leaks were not fake and we are indeed going to see a Mi Band 3 launch.

Apart from the Mi Band 3, The May 31 launch will also see the launch of Mi 8, Mi Note 5 and the company’s latest UI MIUI 10. However, Wang Xiang, did not mention anything about the Mi Note 5, so we can assume that Mi Note 5 rumours were fake.
Anyway, talking about the Mi Band 3 well in the past Xiaomi’s smartwatch partner Huami confirmed about it. Even as the Black Shark launch event we have had found Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun wearing the all new Mi band 3.
Talking about the specifications, the Mi Band 3 has been rumored to sport a touchscreen display on the top. However unlike Mi Band 2, this time we will get to see gesture based actions like swiping, long press and more. Also, the Mi Band 3 is expected to feature the same look as the Mi Band 3. However, it will sport some refined design tweaks.
In addition to that in some earlier leaks, it was mentioned that the Mi Band 3 would sport a tiny screen and we will get to see an OLED panel. In addition to that, the Mi Band 3 will display things like time, step count, notifications, heart rate.
The Mi Band 3 is expected to come with Bluetooth 4.2 and LE connectivity, NFC, IP67 certification, removable strap and a lot more.
However, as of now, there are no leaks about the pricing. Or we have no information about the Indian launch. So you better stick with us to find out more about the Mi Band 3.
