Xiaomi has been launching too many devices this year. And now according to the recent reports, it is said that the company is planning to launch another Redmi series handsets this year. Its only been three months since we have seen the launch of the Redmi 5 lineup and now its successor Redmi 6 has started making noise.
Earlier, we have found the variants of the Redmi 6 or Redmi 6A were spotted in a Chinese certification site, and it seems like a plus or pro variant is also on the way. Also, the latest leak suggests that the new smartphones might come with an iPhone X like notch.
According to a new TENAA listing, a Xiaomi device with the M1805D1SE model number has sported on the website. Also, it is said that the Redmi 6 plus or pro device will be a bigger device compared to the Redmi 6.
Talking about the devices, the rumoured smartphone comes with vertically placed dual rear cameras and a notch at the top of the display. The size of the display is said to be a 5.84-inch full-HD+ one, and it will come with 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device has an octa-core processor which is clocked at 2GHz.
According to the listing, the device may come with 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB RAM variants and the storage is said to be 16GB/ 32GB/ 64GB.
In the camera department, the device has a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera on the front panel. Also, the device is expected to run on Android 8.1 Oreo along with MIUI 10 which is yet to reveal. In addition to that, there will be a 4000mAh battery. However, as of now, there is no such confirmation from the company’s end. So let’s just wait a few more weeks to figure out more about the device.
